CMS and eCommerce
Long gone (thank goodness) are the days of having to contact your web designer every time you wanted to update your website. Modern sites almost always use some kind of Content Management System (CMS) and ours are no different. But whereas some developers will try and tie you in to their favourite system, we’ve produced dozens of sites across a range of platforms including WordPress, Drupal and Magento.
Naturally we’ll make recommendations based on your site requirements but if you have a specific requirement we can usually deliver. We’re also experienced in different payment gateways such as PayPal and SagePay.
Here’s a quick overview of the CMS’s we work with most…
WordPress
We won’t deny it, this one’s our out and out favourite. Massively flexible but so simple to use, we’ve delivered a whole host of sites based on the WordPress platform, from simple brochure sites to web apps.
Drupal
A more heavyweight and complex CMS which delivers loads of functionality right out of the box. Ideal for larger sites or where the client needs greater control over their site and content.
Magento
Magento is more of an eCommerce platform than a CMS. Very much geared to hosting an online shop it’s perfect for handling product sales, customer accounts and online purchases with its integrated payment gateways.
